Overarching goal of the Laboratory is to understand the mechanisms by which signaling processes are coordinated in the cell and how this coordination fails in disease conditions. With historical focus on calcium signaling and calcium-regulated proteins, such as calcineurin, we use multidisciplinary approach and cutting edge technologies to identify key signaling hubs and to investigate their physiological mechanisms in order to understand how their dysfunction drives disease pathogenesis.
